9LIST ROUTIN3S™ | TYLER RICH
9LIST ROUTIN3S | TYLER RICH: MORNING
1/ French press coffee - Constantly being on the go, mornings can be hard. I definitely need that kick of caffeine first thing, and the process of French pressing makes me appreciate the coffee even more. Plus, the flavor is much better of course!
2/ Meditation/Yoga - 10 minutes to clear my head and start the day with a fresh mindset is huge. It helps with my productivity, clarity, and my goals for the day.
3/ Vitamins and breakfast with Abby - Abby is my husky I’ve had for over 15 years. I rescued her when she was 5 months old, and she’s about to turn 16 this August. We take turns taking our vitamins each morning, and it’s one of my favorite parts of the day. 1/ Each morning I put a scoop of LION’S MANE MUSHROOM POWDER in my coffee. It seems to really help with my brain fog. I need all the extra clarity I can get each day!
9LIST ROUTIN3S | TYLER RICH: AFTERNOON
4/ Writing Music - Weekdays usually consist of me writing music through most of the afternoon in my studio upstairs. 2-3 songs a week is the average, but can vary based off my travel schedule.
5/ Watch ESPN / Good Morning Football - I’m a huge sports fan, especially the 49ers, and keep up with my teams and overall stats, almost as much as world news. It’s on constantly in the background, even when I am writing.
6/ Exercise - Afternoon - Exercise - This is extremely essential. My job consists of many nights drinking on the road, so finding balance for my health is important. When I am home, I do two-a-days often with 45-60 or so at the gym, and then, either a run in my neighborhood or a peloton class at some other point during the day. Getting outdoors, and going on hikes, is one of our favorite things to do together though.
9LIST ROUTIN3S | TYLER RICH: NIGHT
7/ Performing - The most normal evening routine for me, is being on stage. I usually spend my nights performing, and wouldn’t have it any other way.
8/ Night - Dinner/Drinks - Discovering new favorite restaurants on the road is one of my favorite things about traveling, especially when I also find new craft beers I love from my favorite cities, and of course their famous desserts for my crazy sweet tooth.
9/ Movies/relaxing with my wife - Both of our careers make our lives nonstop, and usually involve traveling. So, we use any chance we can if we are together at night, to relax, watch movies, binge watch shows together, and just truly do nothing. It’s an essential part of our bond, and we wouldn’t trade those few hours we get to actually do that, for anything.
