9LIST ROUTIN3S | DON BROOKS: MORNING
1/ BODYARMOR SportWater – I’ll normally begin my day by chugging some water and rehydrating my body before tackling the first chores.
2/ PLAN – I have training sessions with my clients in the morning starting around 5AM, so before I do anything I’ll take a look at my schedule for the day. Between personal training clients and group classes I always need to keep my calendar in check.
3/ QUICK BITE – Before I dive into my first workout, I need something small in my body – no matter how early it is – just to give my body some fuel for the day ahead.

4/ BODYARMOR LYTE Sports Drink – I’ll have one of these before, during and after my workouts.
5/ LUNCH – I always squeeze in a healthy lunch to keep my energy up and fuel me throughout the afternoon. I’m a big fan of fish, especially Salmon – something with protein that’s healthy is normally my go-to.
6/ ON THE GO – In addition to training, there’s a lot on the business side to take care of, so any time I can get a minute I check in on emails/texts/calls. Whether its coordinating schedules, responding to client requests or arranging travel when I’m on the road, there’s a lot that happens outside of the Matrix!

7/ RECONNECT – When I wrap up my day, I always make sure to check in with friends and family, whether it’s a call or a text I always make sure reconnecting is part of my day.
8/ LAST MEAL – After my last workout of the day, I’ll grab dinner on Sunset before heading home. Dinner is usually a healthy mix of protein and vegetables to replenish my body after a long day of work.
9/ WIND DOWN – The long day is nearly over, so after checking my last texts/missed calls and more – I’ll put my phone down, thrown on some music and get my mind & body right for nighttime.
